Artist Bio
Desert Rose born Bexley Dallapè is an American rapper, producer, photographer/videographer, clothing designer, & graphic designer born and raised in southern Utah, currently residing in the Saint Louis area.
Known for his ability to quickly shift between different styles of Hip-Hop, Rose prides himself on never staying committed to just one vibe and always evolving as an artist. He is often experimenting with new sounds and flows in multiple genres, primarily focusing on alternative Hip-Hop and Prog-Rap.
Desert Rose started rapping at the age of 13, recording songs in a run down shed in his back yard. He would upload these early experimental trap songs to SoundCloud under multiple different aliases before ultimately landing on Desert Rose.
The name Desert Rose has a double meaning to Bexley, not only is it the name of one of his favorite gem stones, but it also represents two key aspects of his life. Desert, referring to his desert rat past growing up in Utah, and Rose being a nod to his affinity for pretty things. Rose is a self proclaimed “pretty boy who likes pretty things”.
Rose also has extensive experience with graphic design and photography. When he was younger he would sell album covers and do photo shoots for extra cash. Now he runs a clothing brand, Detention Clothing, and has plans to grow his brand while simultaneously working on new music and various other projects.
